Arcadia Meat Market
3950 E. Indian School Rd., #130, Phoenix
arcadiameatmarket.com

While the focus is on meat (much of it raised in Arizona), the market also offers various local accompaniments such as seasonings, salsas, adult beverages, Benny Blanco tortillas and more. Also look for the house-made chorizo and sausages.

Arcadia Premium
5618 E. Thomas Rd., #100, Phoenix
arcadiapremium.com

It’s not often you find a Mom-and-Pop bottle shop with a complete line of local chocolates, pasta sauces, snacks, hot sauces and gift items, but that’s what you get at Arcadia Premium. In addition to their collection of Arizona and imported wines and beers, they offer everything you might need for a picnic or happy hour on the patio, including charcuterie and cheeses (not necessarily local, however). And the best part? They deliver to the Arcadia neighborhood, as well as to Old Town and South Scottsdale and the ASU Tempe campus.

Blue Sky Farm Store
4762 N. 189th Ave., Litchfield Park
blueskyorganicfarms.com

Not just for CSA pickups, this small West Valley store is jam-packed with local produce, Noble Bread, sweets treats from Hope’s Artisan, cheese from Crow’s Dairy, Bianco tomatoes, Ramona Farms beans, microgreens and much, much more. Open Wednesday to Saturday.

Hayden Flour Mills Mill Shoppe
22100 S. Sossaman Rd., Queen Creek
haydenflourmills.com

In addition to a full range of Hayden Flour Mills products, the Mill Shoppe offers a small selection of carefully curated local products such as 1 Acre Honey and Jams and cocktail mixers. Look for local food gift boxes for the holidays.

Main Street Harvest
121 W. Main St., Mesa
mainstharvest.com

A new effort from Jon Przybyl and Amanda Abou of Proof Bread fame spurred by their need to relocate the bakery, this market in downtown Mesa carries everything from Steadfast Farms lettuce to duck eggs and freeze-dried pickles, all produced by small local artisanal companies. Order on the website for pickup, or visit in person.

Queen Creek Olive Mill Farm Market and Eatery
25062 S. Meridian Rd., Queen Creek

Retail Store
7122 E. Greenway Pkwy., Suite #120, Scottsdale
queencreekolivemill.com

Although the market is predominately filled with QCOM’s olive oil and house-branded sauces and condiments (try the new BOOM hot sauces), you will also find Arizona wine, crackers, honey, chocolate and condiments to fill your basket.

Steadfast Farm Store
5111 S. Inspirian
Pkwy., Mesa
steadfast-farm.com

Now open seven days a week with self-service during the season, check the cooler for local cheese and pick up flowers with your veg. Stop by Steadfast Coffee for a selection of local pastries.

Tracy Dempsey Originals and ODV Wines
1323-1325 W.
University Dr., Tempe
tracydempseyoriginals.com

ODV is an abundant source of Arizona wines but you can also find other local favorites in addition to Tracy’s weekly takeout offerings including chocolate bars from local producers, locally roasted coffee, condiments from Desert Provisions and Wonder Mustard, an array of local honeys and Pork Shop pepper bacon (no need to drive out to Queen Creek). Advance orders or shopping appointments required.

Be sure to check websites for hours and any COVID restrictions before you go.
