The Simple Farm

About Simple Farm's CSA: Though it grows its own fruits and vegetables, the Simple Farm is primarily a goat dairy farm, and savvy shoppers know to pick up some of the farm's organic, homemade goat's-milk salted caramels with their CSA goodies. Shares ($175 for a seven-week season) include vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers, and eggs from the farm, along with occasional items from other local farms that have similar growing practices.

RhibaFarms

On-site, seasonal farm stand currently on Saturdays from 8:00am-noon.

CSA Program: Offers seasonal CSA programs year-round. Customers can join mid-season for prorated costs. Rhibafarms’ produce is organically grown with its microgreens certified organic. The farm’s microgreens and mushrooms are also Good Agricultural Practices and Good Handling Practices certified.

Delivery/Pickup Options: Multiple pickup options across the Valley

Add-ons: Occasional a la carte items for a couple dollars more per share

Tonopah Rob - Closed

About Tonopah Rob's CSA: "It's like running a bar tab that was pre-paid," Rob Lazzarotto says of Tonopah Rob's CSA program. Instead of weekly delivery boxes, members have a dollar-value balance ($250 for a half share, $1,000 for a "super duper" share) they can use to shop at the farmstand. And they'll use it all, too, since more than 300 different varieties of fruits and vegetables are grown on the nine-acre farm and sold alongside eggs, honey and fresh-cut flowers. Look for tilapia to be available in the middle of 2015.

Urban Farm

Greg Peterson enjoys educating others about permaculture. As The Urban Farm evolved into the Urban Farm U, he has expanded his reach by interviewing growers, innovators and other educators in The Urban Farm Podcast. Events, webinars and classes (some of which are free) are also posted to the site frequently. A fruit tree program is availble to teach others about maintenance and care. The Urban Farm is a resource and community for those seeking to successfully grow their own food.

Tolmachoff Farms

This four-generation farm grows an array of fruits and vegetables—corn, watermelon, cantaloupe, okra, peppers, eggplant, brandywine tomatoes—and are equally known for their activities, corn maze and pumpkin patch. They also have a pick-your-own option during the month of June.

Their produce stand is open every day from until they close for the season in mid-July. For more details, visit http://www.Tolmachoff-Farms.com.
