Arizona Microgreens

Brothers Dave and Joseph produce these organic greenhouse-grown microgreens that have a large presence throughout the Valley in restaurants and at local farmers markets. Microgreen offerings include mixes such as a wellness mix and a radish mix, as well as other microgreens such as pea shoots, kale, onion, mustard and more. All add a fresh and healthful punch to salads, smoothies, sandwiches, and other dishes.

Justice Brothers Ranch & U-Pick

Justice Brothers Ranch features dozens of varieties of pesticide-free fresh citrus including navel, Valencia and mandarin oranges; tangerines and tangelos; red and white grapefruit and more. Visit the farmstand for purchase, and enjoy additional goods like beef, local honey and produce from Crooked Sky Farms.

Farmstand open Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00am-1:00pm.

Visit the U-Pick orchards for the opportunity to pick your own citrus per bag, located in Surprise.

Pinnacle Farms

Pinnacle Farms encompasses 5 sustainable properties that encompasses fruits, vegetables, and more. Pinnacle Farms South includes 57 acres and 1200 fruit trees, while Pinnacle Farms West (in the West Valley) is home to a 50-acre sustainable vegetable farm.

In May, Pinnacle Farms South offers you-pick peaches and fruit. Visit their Facebook Page for details.

Market at Pinnacle Farms South is self-serve from sun up to sun down. Bring small change.

Pine Creek Canyon Lavender Farm

This family-owned lavender farm grows three varieties of lavender, two of which are considered culinary lavenders. They can be used in savory dishes and confections. Pine Creek Canyon offers lavender extra virgin olive oils and great sweet lavender balsamic vinegars. Lavender baking sugar as well as lavender himalayan salt mills and provence lavender lemon pepper mills are also available. Aromatic lavender, of course, is also featured. Arizona Worm Farm

Learn about worm composting, or simply buy compost, mulch, or castings here. You can also take a tour of the farm to see the full operation, from breeding worms to creating and running a sustainable farm. Kids classes, as well as informational adult classes, are available.

Aravaipa Farms

Accomodations at this orchard and inn include various cozy rooms/casitas. Dining at the farm is focused on the use of local products, including fruits from the on-site orchard, and vegetables/herbs. Breakfast includes a delivery of fresh baked goods and coffee each morning to the door. Birding and hiking in the Aravaipa Canyon are great ways to enjoy the natural backdrop, as well as star gazing in the evenings.

Whipstone Farm

This family farm grows over 100 varieties of vegetables and flowers without the use of pesticides. They also offer herbs, pickled items and other preserves. Flowers and produce are available through their CSA or farm stand. Flowers are also available in Phoenix at the Camelback Flower Shop and through Mayesh wholesale (mayesh.com). Closed for flower production mid-December through mid-February.

True Garden

True Garden's vertical aeroponic farm uses state-of-the-art technology to maintain growing in its greenhouse year-round. The vertical setup takes advantage of space. The produce is grown without the use of pesticides or herbicides and is nutrient-dense and fresh.

CSA Program: Offers produce grown on its vertical, aeroponic farm in Mesa with plans to offer customized “produce on demand” boxes this fall.

Soil & Seed Garden

The produce cultivated in this garden is used to supply a true farm-to-table experience, with attention to fresh and seasonal ingredients. A market held on Saturday mornings has vegetables, greens, herbs, flowers and eggs available for purchase.

CSA Program: Offers fresh-grown vegetables, herbs and edible flowers. Depending on the season and availability, bags may include eggs, citrus or other items.

Seacat Gardens

Carl Seacat is a creative grower whose time and care are apparent in the produce coming out of Seacat Gardens, which is grown from seed to harvest. Different varieties of each vegetable are grown, and can be rare, with a focus on tomatoes, melon and lettuce.
