(Ayóó Áhálniih) Brings Navajo Flavors to Pastry

Scone On? is a passion project from home baker Thalia Roessel incorporating the tastes of her Diné heritage into modern baked goods (especially scones). The scone flavors vary based on the seasons, but we’re big fans of those that incorporate cornmeal along with the usual wheat flour: blue corn with piñon and apricot, blue corn with lemon and blueberry, and yellow corn with chiles and cheese. Take a bite and you’ll be saying Scone On!
