Sandra Day O’connor

The first female justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, Sandra Day O’Connor, a ranch-raised Arizonan, has led a distinguished life.

In 2006, the adobe home that Justice O’Connor and her late husband, John, built in Paradise Valley was painstakingly deconstructed and rebuilt over a three-year period on a site in Papago Park, adjacent to the AZ Heritage Center.
