Why We Love It: Larry “Lolo” White spent a lot time in his grandmother’s restaurant’s kitchen perfecting his fried chicken and waffles. The reward? A mini soul-food chain that has earned the following of Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’neal. The restaurant serves breakfast all day plus (besides the chicken and waffles) burgers and southern favorites like fried anything, blackened catfish, banana pudding and red velvet cake. Most dishes have hilarious names but we will let you discover those yourself. “You got to go go to Lolo’s.”
