Why We Love It: Fresh-made pizzas, grass-fed burgers, gooey grilled cheeses...these might be things kids like to eat, but this is certainly no typical college cafeteria. The café’s local and sustainable menu is prepared, and often-times grown, by students in the school’s Sustainable Food Systems program. “We grow it, we cook it, we compost it--circle closed,” says program director Michael Hodgins.
