Why We Love It: Barb’s has been standing strong as one of Phoenix’s best bakeries for more than 35 years. The bakery still uses a lot of Barb’s original recipes for their grain and seeded breads, cakes, cookies, cupcakes, pastries and specialty desserts—some of which have been handed down for generations in her family. The red velvet cake is a local favorite and must-try.
