Catherine, The Herb Lady, will be answering your questions on gardening in our currently crazy weather patterns.

Our "Non-Soon" as some called the lack of summer rains, has been followed by a LOT of rain late-fall-into-winter. Catherine will answer questions on how to adjust your sowing/planing/gardening for less than normal changes in our weather patterns.

"Normal" weather for late winter into spring is a series of warming, then cooling actions of the AIR temperatures, while the soil continues a "warming trend". That is the usual.

Last year and this year we have had a mix of the way the soil cools then warms as we move from summer to spring.

More than ever you will need to pay more attention to soil moisture levels, spikes in day time temperatures, and potential for frost or even hail going forward into spring. In other words "weird weather."

Come ready to pick out free seed and with your questions - Mesa Urban Garden and Catherine want you to get your growing on and be successful.
