AZ Uncorked: The Arizona Wine Guide by photographer and past Edible Phoenix contributor Jenelle Bonifield is a long-time labor of love. Bonifield’s been crisscrossing the state’s major wine regions to photograph the essence of Arizona’s wine industry since her early collaboration with LDV Winery. (And her 2016 win of the International Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year award in its produce category with a photograph of grape pressing at the winery.)

The high-end, full-color, 544-page book takes you through Arizona’s three wine regions, metro tasting rooms and outlier wineries with photos, maps and interviews—46 stories in all. You’ll hear the personal tales of Arizona’s leading vintners and see the diversity of our state’s wine geography. There’s an introductory section on Arizona wine history and the final pages are filled with fun wine festival photographs.

Pour yourself a tot of Arizona’s finest and start paging through the arresting photos. Then top up your glass and settle in for a good read from Bonifield’s contributing writers.

The book won’t fit in a Christmas stocking but the hefty six-pound volume is a can’t-miss holiday gift. Available at arizonawineguide.com/order-book, with delivery expected late November/early December.
