CSA Program: Offers a reusable tote of produce, grown at Spaces of Opportunity or its companion garden, The Orchard Community Learning Center, both in south Phoenix. CSA customers have the option to choose some of the produce that goes into their tote each week, and also receive a discount at Spaces of Opportunity’s farmers market.

Delivery/Pickup Options: Pickup at the farm.

Add-ons: Coffee and compost.

Cost: $25 per box, purchased weekly or biweekly

The Green Box!

CSA Program: Offers a weekly box of greens with the roots still intact. These vegetables are grown aeroponically at Grace Farms in Mesa.

Delivery/Pickup Options: One pickup point in Chandler 

Add-ons: Eggs from Grace Farms and Harper Family Farms

Cost: $120 for four weeks; $80 for half share for four weeks.

Verde Valley CSA

CSA Program: Offers organically grown produce from farms in Verde Valley and the Prescott area through a CSA subscription from mid-May to mid-October.

Delivery/Pickup Options: Pickup locations in Cornville, Sedona and Camp Verde

Add-ons: Eggs, flowers

Taste of Paradise - CLOSED

CSA Program: Offers CSA boxes year-round full of produce mostly grown on Phoenix-area farms. Taste of Paradise gathers produce from multiple partnering farms all certified organic, naturally grown or pesticide free using ethical growing practices. Customers can join at any time and can also substitute pre-set items in any week’s delivery for other items. Taste of Paradise also donates bags of produce to families in need.

Sun Produce Co-Op

CSA Program: Offers produce from members of the Sun Produce Cooperative, including Rhibafarms, Maya’s Farm, Pinnacle Farms and Crooked Sky Farms. Ten percent of the sale of each box goes to the parent-teacher association of the subscriber-designated school. 

Delivery/Pickup Options: Currently pickups in the East Valley and Tempe (TDO Originals)

Add-ons: Flowers and eggs, as available

Cost: $200 for eight weeks or shorter options available

Farmyard

CSA Program: Offers organically produced CSA baskets year-round on five-week and 10-week cycles. Farmyard also donates to schools supporting school gardens.

Gila Farm Cooperative

About Gila Farm's CSA: Members of the Gila Farm Cooperative CSA aren't just bolstering local agriculture; they're supporting refugee farmers. The International Rescue Committee, a nonprofit that works with refugees in more than 40 countries, helped establish the cooperative, which welcomes farmers from countries such as Bhutan, Burma, Iraq, Liberia, Sudan and Somalia. Shares ($25 per week for 8, 10 or 12 weeks) can be picked up at the IRC Phoenix Office in Glendale, the Redemption Church in Tempe, the Duck & Decanter in Phoenix or the Downtown Phoenix Public Market.

The Simple Farm

About Simple Farm's CSA: Though it grows its own fruits and vegetables, the Simple Farm is primarily a goat dairy farm, and savvy shoppers know to pick up some of the farm's organic, homemade goat's-milk salted caramels with their CSA goodies. Shares ($175 for a seven-week season) include vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers, and eggs from the farm, along with occasional items from other local farms that have similar growing practices.

RhibaFarms

On-site, seasonal farm stand currently on Saturdays from 8:00am-noon.

CSA Program: Offers seasonal CSA programs year-round. Customers can join mid-season for prorated costs. Rhibafarms’ produce is organically grown with its microgreens certified organic. The farm’s microgreens and mushrooms are also Good Agricultural Practices and Good Handling Practices certified.

Delivery/Pickup Options: Multiple pickup options across the Valley

Add-ons: Occasional a la carte items for a couple dollars more per share
