Why We Love It: Owner David Vose was a chef before he was a farmer so you know he appreciates quality ingredients. You can pick up the fresh produce from his organic farm right at the farm store––where you will also find hand-gathered eggs, honey, jams and artisan products like kale chips and popcorn snacks––or sign up for his CSA on a week-to-week, 12 week or 32-week basis.

About Blue Sky's CSA: Since no one wants to be stuck figuring out how to preserve those leftover veggies (and kale chips can only go so far), Blue Sky Organic Farms offers its CSA shares in three sizes: mini (good for one omnivore), regular (for two omnivores or one vegetarian) and large (good for four to five ominivores or two to three vegetarians). Members can join the Certified Organic CSA for one week ($16.50–$32, depending on size), or commit for the long term and get a 32-week share ($495–$962). Pickup is available at the farm in Litchfield Park, Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, Verrado in Buckeye, or the Scottsdale Farmers' Market.
