Two new local food shows are hitting the airwaves – or should we say, hitting the net. Restaurant Live AZ broadcasts on Wednesdays at 3pm on DoublewideNetwork.com, and My AZ Now Radio offers live streaming and podcasts from its own website.

Hosted by Joanie Simon, a restaurant technology consultant, Restaurant Live AZ has been promoting the Arizona food and restaurant scene since March. The weekly show includes interviews with local chefs, bartenders and food producers as well as visiting celebs (see RestaurantLiveAZ.com for links to past episodes as well as Joanie's blog posts.)

My AZ Now Radio is the brainchild of the team at FnB Restaurant. Inspired by a chance encounter with the Heritage Food Network in Brooklyn, Pavle Milic has assembled a diverse team to promote Arizona food and culture from Dominic Armato and Food Nerds, Charleen Badman on Food Stalk and Jessica Fleming on wine to Lesley Oliver on arts and culture, Laurie Perez with Enlightenment Tapas, Matt Lebowitz on jazz and, of course, Pavle with his own interview show called Stay True Radio.

Bonus: While not a regular show, check out the Will Work for Good Food podcasts from the gals at Good Food Allies. They provide in-depth looks at local food producers (the first interview was at the commissary many food trucks work out of) and lots of fun. See GoodFoodFinder.com/blog.
