Kief-Joshua Vineyards will once again host the non-profit Chili Appreciation Society International (CASI) in a professional two-day Chili cook-off, where cooks from the Southwest will be competing for a spot in the national challenge, on April 21st and 22nd, from 11 am to 5 pm.

For added fun, four winemakers will also be competing in a faux-episode of Food Networks hit show “Chopped.” Ann Roncone of Lightning Ridge Cellars, Gary Reeves of the Village of Elgin, and Lori Reynolds of Sonoita Vineyards and Kief Manning of Kief-Joshua Vineyards will be competing and pouring tastes of their wines.

For a $10 donation to Rotary, guests can also taste the competition chili and People’s Choice chili’s on Saturday and Salsa on Sunday with all proceeds donated to Mountain Empire Rotary. We’d like to encourage entries into the People’s Choice Chili Cook-off at no charge, where guests can earn prizes for winning the contest.
