ACI Family Fun Run/Walk Day and Open House
ACI will be hosting the 3rd Annual Glenn Humphrey Memorial Fun Run/Walk. If you’re either a seasoned runner or just want to get some exercise there is a 5K or 2 mile course. Kids and pets are welcome. A registration donation will be accepted for race participants. Trophies will be awarded and all participants who donate will be given 2 tickets to the barbecue lunch. Registration is at 7:00 am, Race begins at 8:00 am.
Don’t want to walk or run? No problem, there will be plenty for all. Come take a tour of the ACI Campus. There will be face painting, a bounce house for the kids, Cotton Candy, Popcorn and a Barbecue Lunch ($5 donation for the BBQ lunch requested). All proceeds go to the Veterans Military\CulinaryBoot Camp Fund. Bring your friends and family.
Barbecue, Barbecue and More. The Chefs and Students from ACI will be cooking up BBQ Beef Brisket, Sausages, Pork Ribs, Cowboy Beans and Coleslaw. The Barbecue begins at 9:00 am and runs until noon. A $5.00 per person fee is requested as a fund raiser for our Military\Veteran Culinary Boot Camp Classes.
What better way to kick off ACI’s Annual Holiday Food Drive than at an Open House? Bring 3 cans of non perishable food to the open house and receive a coupon for the Barbecue lunch. All collected food will be given to the St. Mary’s Food Bank to help feed the hungry this holiday season.
The Amazing Baking and Pastry Instructors and ACI Students will be having a “Bake Sale.” Make sure to stop by and grab some goodies to take home. All proceeds will go to the Military/Veteran Culinary Boot Camp fund.
