Beloved by travelers on the nearby I-10 as well as by generations of West Valley school children who visited the former site of the farm in the 1990s, the baby had to be taken down due to freeway expansion in 2013. Now relocated to Camelback Road and Loop 303 near the company’s modern new headquarters, the eye-catching cutout was restored by artist John Cerney. While the original model for the artwork—Jaymee Lawton, the daughter of a Duncan Family Farms employee—is now 24, the baby is frozen in time, forever playing with her tractor.
