Why We Love It: Uwe Boer, lovingly known as the “Big German,” makes his beer using a gas-fired kettle rather than steam. Sun Up Brewing’s current lineup includes: an IPA, a Hefeweizen, a vanilla porter, an amber ale, a cream ale, a pale ale, some cask and special ales. He’s currently also using a nano brewing system for, small batch, pub only, specialty brews.
