Why We Love It: McClendon’s was the winner of our 2007 Local Hero Awards for Best Farm/Farmer. They grow 100 varieties of organic fruits and vegetables and also produce honey, bee pollen and organic soap. Recently, McClendon’s has partnered with the Cancer Treatment Centers of America and is cultivating 68 acres of its campus to provide produce to the hospital and its patients.
