March’s featured Hip Veggie artist is Veronica Verdugo-Lomeli, from Tolleson, AZ. Verdugo-Lomeli’s work celebrates lettuce, the West Valley workers who bring lettuce to our tables and the role of music in her family and culture. The Lettuce: Give Thanks design will be available on a Hip Veggies canvas shopping bag, and one third of the profits from sales will be donated to Goodyear’s Homeless Youth Connection, serving homeless teens in the West Valley.
