The Food Lovers’ Guide to Phoenix and Scottsdale by Katarina Kovacevic is a comprehensive look at the Valley’s dining scene. Part of a national series for Globe Pequot Press, the book’s main focus is on restaurants but Kovacevic hits the highlights of the Valley’s markets, farmers and events as well. There’s also a section on “Booze in the Desert” and recipes from the Valley’s favorite chefs. The book is worth the price for FnB’s spicy broccoli recipe alone.
