Chef Donald Hawk of the wildly popular Phoenix restaurant Valentine is busy these days creating innovative and mouthwatering New Arizona cuisine. He’s just been nominated as a 2022 semifinalist in the “Emerging Chef” category for the prestigious James Beard culinary awards. As a chef who is known for sourcing the best local ingredients for his dishes, it’s no surprise that he would be plating his cuisine on Arizona-based tableware from HF Coors in Tucson.
Hawk says, “We discovered HF Coors’ outstanding craftsmanship at our past restaurants. We knew that one day, when we opened Valentine, we would have them design a signature plate for us. Not surprisingly, it surpassed all our expectations. It is incredible service ware in design and in practicality. We are so fortunate to have a chance to work with them on this project.”
