These culinary institutions have been supporting our local farms and producers since before it was cool.

Dining trends come and go, but the tenets of local, seasonal cooking form a solid foundation that will give any restaurant staying power. Indeed, there are several Phoenix-area chefs and restaurants that have been supporting our local food movement for as long as we can remember. And, in turn, they have inspired a devoted following. That’s a feat, since it’s easy to be hot for just a minute in the restaurant business, and then forgotten. But these local-food veterans have kept us wanting more long after we finished our first bite—5, 10, even 15-plus years later.
