- 1 head Butter lettuce
- A few cups of crushed ice
- Juice of 1 fresh lemon
- 2–3 tablespoons sugar (or sugar syrup)
Separate and wash the butter lettuce leaves and blend together with the ice to make a slurry. Add the lemon juice and sugar. Drink and enjoy a green boost. Variation: Add 1 sliced red sweet pepper for a different flavor and vitamin C.
