Why We Love It: In case you were wondering, “overland trout” is cowboy slang for bacon. Chef Greg LaPrad channels borderland, Sonoran and desert cuisine by using ingredients sourced from local and domestic farms. Milk Braised Pork is served with smashed red potatoes, spiced pears and raisins. The Grilled Ribeye Roll comes with summer peppers, onions and heirloom tomatoes. All this is paired with an impressive list of local wines. Overland is worth the roadtrip.
