Date Creek Ranch

Why We Love It: This small, family-owned cattle ranch was nursed back from the dead in 1966 through an intensive grazing and holistic management plan—Phillip Knight, founder of the farm, has won several environmentalist awards. The land is now bountiful and yielding pears, apples, peaches, pastured Poulet Rouge chickens and grass-fed beef. Visitors are always welcome at the ranch and orchards.
