Why We Love It: This 280-acre Nubian goat farm and dairy is off-the-grid and generates all its own electricity—primarily through solar and wind. Chemical fertilizers, pesticides, pharmaceutical meds, antibiotics or hormones are never used and the goats are free-range. The result is a distinctively local cheese that has lush flavors of the White Mountains. Don’t miss their goats’ milk and other candies in the cooler months.

Ranch not open to the public.

Offerings include: 

  • Farmstead goat milk cheeses: fresh and flavored goat cheese and aged goat cheeses (spring through winter)
  • Handcrafted candies (seasonally October to February)
