In 2008, a dedicated group of community volunteers planted seeds for neighborhood revitalization through urban agriculture and the arts. Through continued hard work and care, a barren corner in Downtown Phoenix blossomed into the Roosevelt Growhouse, a beloved community urban farm, shop, and gathering place. Join co-founder, Kenny Barrett, as he pulls back the soil, takes you back to the beginning, and shows you the roots of Phoenix's one-and-only "Growhouse".

This on-site tour goes along with a talk we will be hosting at Changing Hands Bookstore in Phoenix. Please RSVP separately for the talk here.
