Tamale Workshop for Beginners - Class
Work with a professional chef to create 2 types of tamales. Students will learn to make green chile chicken, red chile pork tamales. This is a hands-on cooking class where you will listen and watch our chef demo the do’s and don’ts of making tamales while also making your own tamales. Students will then eat tamales for a late lunch.
Rio Salado College culinary workshops are designed to be fun and low pressure. We want the group to work safe, learn new techniques and recipes to add to their culinary repertoire and most importantly, HAVE FUN!
Proper kitchen attire is required which includes: close toed shoes, long pants and long or short sleeve shirt. Please restrain hair while in the kitchen.
