About this Event

What’s the difference between a lager and an ale? What makes IPAs taste so bitter? What the hell is “wort?”

If you’ve ever wondered the answer to any of these questions, you’re the perfect candidate for the Four Peaks Beer Academy. Join experts from Four Peaks each month as they host a deep-dive seminar into a particular beer-related topic. Whether you’re an aspiring Cicerone or just want to know a bit more about the world’s greatest beverage, you’ll find each class to be filled with valuable info—and tasty beer samples. You’ll drink, you’ll eat, you’ll laugh, you’ll learn.

Each class is $25 and includes light appetizers, beer and ingredient samples, and a custom pen and notepad. You can sign up for each session individually, or for all four at the reduced rate of $80.

This session's topic: Ingredients & the Brewing Process

What better way to learn about the process of making beer than by actually walking through a brewery? This interactive session will feature a tour of our Wilson brewery, plus in-depth examinations of the four main ingredients in beer and an exploration of the ways each can impact a beer’s flavor, aroma, and appearance.
