Saving seeds from your garden vegetables and flowers promotes locally adapted characteristics, is economical, conserves biodiversity, and FUN! In this workshop we will take part in hands on activities and lectures to learn the basics of botany, flowering and pollination, seed harvesting, and storage so that you can get the most out of saving seeds from your garden. Participants will be provided with all supplies including a copy of Saving Seeds in the Southwest, a 70+ guide to seed saving published by Native Seeds/SEARCH.
