Knife Skills: Taste of Spain

Chef Aimee Novak will be teaching a hands-on class that focuses on the fundamental techniques of safe and efficient knife care and handling. In this class, participants will explore Spain's magnificent culinary traditions covering various regions of the Spanish landscape. Spain is often referred to as “the Market Garden of Europe” and this class will highlight its ingredients and regional cuisines. Learn how to put together a meal using basic staples found in your pantry, select a good olive oil and tips for wine pairing. Participants will practice different techniques to cut various vegetables to make a Tortilla Españolas (Spanish Tortilla).
