The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension is excited to announce its newest weekly series of culinary classes and interactive workshops beginning September 12, 2017.  Family, Consumer and Health Sciences Programs are offering a free series of classes in Prescott that are open to community members.  Join Chef Aimee Novak as she focuses on identifying some of the basic foods and preparation techniques that translate across cuisines, cultures and continents.  Topics include knife skills, flavor profiles, cooking techniques, ingredient identification and cultural elements of World Cuisine.  This hands-on series will allow participants to experience a variety of fares and the cooking techniques specific to highlighted regions around the world.

  • September 12th: Knife Skills and Kitchen Safety:  Salsas
  • September 19th: Culinary Techniques:  Grilling
  • September 26th: Cooking with Spices:  Curries
