Primarily a white grape growing region of Germanic influence, Alsace is known for its varietal driven wines, most notably its dry Rieslings and aromatic Gewurztranimer. The region is also known for its Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and its lone red grape, Pinot Noir. Join us as we dip into some wines from Alsace as well as some examples of Alsatian varietals grown in other parts of the world.
